COVID on Christmas

Well, you can guess by the title what has happened. Adalynn and I got COVID, and no it was not from going to Disney World. Unfortunately I had it before I went, and had no clue. It was not until I was in Disney World two days before Christmas, I had started to feel like I got hit by a moving bus. Fast forward into the story, and I am now currently in quarantine. At first I was upset and sad I would not be seeing my family on Christmas day or out and about looking at lights...but then I put things into perspective. I have TEN days to self reflect. I have TEN days to bond with my baby girl. I have TEN days to give my body a cleanse and the attention it needs. I have TEN days away from everything and everyone, to breathe. This is what I needed. This is what I wanted. In a very unfortunate situation, I was given a much needed break to reset and start my new year. I get to go into 2021 refreshed and prepared for what is ahead. I get to clear my mind and body of things from the past. The last few days have opened my eyes to a lot, and I just want to end this year by saying I am thankful for the lessons and blessings. I have grown tremendously as a person and as a mother, and I hope to continue to do so going into next year. Thank you for everyone who has stayed in my corner and by my side when I have needed them most. I am going to continue self reflecting these next few days and I am really excited to share my journey with everyone moving forward. Stay tuned! #LifeWithJulesss Remember to tell those in your life you love them, many people are not as fortunate as we were, and are not recovering from COVID.
